Mito2 Wellness Technology

Simulated Altitude Therapy Equipment for Wellness Facilities

Mito2 is a professional Simulated Altitude Therapy system, clinically known as Intermittent Hypoxic-Hyperoxic Training (IHHT). It delivers Active Cellular Training through programmed hypoxic and hyperoxic oxygen intervals, with real-time SpO2 safety monitoring on every client.

What Mito2 is

Mito2 is a turnkey IHHT platform built for wellness facilities including medical spas, chiropractic facilities, integrative medical practices, performance gyms, trainers, and wellness centers. A single technician can run safe, fully programmed 40 to 50 minute sessions on standard 110V power.

Each session alternates short intervals of low-oxygen air with higher-oxygen air, recreating the cellular signal of training at altitude without leaving the facility. The mechanism is rooted in the HIF-1 alpha oxygen-sensing pathway recognized by the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Mito2 is a wellness modality, not a treatment for any medical condition.

Why facilities add Mito2

How it differs from hyperbaric oxygen

Hyperbaric therapy is passive and pushes extra oxygen into tissue under pressure. Simulated Altitude Therapy (IHHT) is active cellular training: the body responds to a programmed oxygen challenge and adapts. Different mechanism, different equipment footprint, different experience.

Medical spas are discovering that IHHT isn't just another service, it's a retention powerhouse that keeps clients coming back. Here are five strategies successful med spas are using to maximize their IHHT investment with the Mito2 system.

    Strategy 1: The Pre-Treatment Primer

    How It Works:

    • Position IHHT as a "treatment primer"

    • Bundle with popular services like facials or body treatments

    • Educate clients on cellular preparation benefits

      Results:

Med spas using this strategy report clients perceive greater value from their aesthetic services.

    Strategy 2: The Recovery Accelerator

    The Approach:
Recommend IHHT sessions following more intensive procedures to support natural recovery.

    How It Works:

    • Create post-procedure IHHT packages

    • Position as premium recovery option

    • Schedule sessions during the recovery window

      Results:

Clients appreciate the proactive approach to their wellness journey.

    Strategy 3: The Membership Anchor

    The Approach:
Use IHHT as the cornerstone of wellness membership programs that create predictable recurring revenue.

    How It Works:

    • Include 2-4 IHHT sessions per month in membership

    • Add other services as membership perks

    • Create tier options for different commitment levels

      Sample Membership Structure:

    • Essential: 2 IHHT sessions + 10% off services

    • Premium: 4 IHHT sessions + 15% off + monthly facial

    • Elite: Unlimited IHHT + 20% off + comprehensive wellness program

Strategy 4: The Corporate Wellness Partner

      Implementation Tips

      Start with Existing Clients:

Your current clients already trust you. Introduce IHHT to them first through educational events or special preview sessions.

    Train Your Team:
Every team member should be able to explain IHHT benefits and identify ideal candidates. The Mito2 system includes CAT™ certification from O₂ Pro Academy.

    Create Visual Education:
Use before/after energy assessments, testimonials, and educational displays to help clients understand the value.

    Track and Adjust:
Monitor which strategies work best for your specific client demographic and adjust your approach accordingly.
