IHHT Machine for Wellness Facilities

Mito2™ is a turnkey IHHT machine (Intermittent Hypoxic-Hyperoxic Training) built for facility use: programmed hypoxic and hyperoxic intervals, real-time SpO2 monitoring on every client, and one cabinet that plugs into a standard 110V outlet.

What is IHHT?

What the Mito2 IHHT machine does

Hypoxic phase

Programmed 10 to 12% O2 (altitude-like stimulus at normal pressure)

Hyperoxic phase

Programmed 60 to 75% O2 recovery interval

Safety monitoring

Real-time dual pulse oximetry with an 80% SpO2 floor

Power & footprint

One cabinet, standard 110V outlet, no plumbing or build-out

Operation

Touchscreen-guided protocols, 5 training modes including EWOT

Training

CAT™ credential coursework included for your staff

Mito2 creates a controlled, altitude-like hypoxic stimulus by lowering the oxygen concentration at normal barometric pressure. It is not equivalent to physically being at altitude.

How to compare IHHT machines

Six questions worth asking any vendor before you buy oxygen training equipment for a commercial floor.

  • Does the machine alternate hypoxic and hyperoxic intervals, or only deliver one fixed low-oxygen mixture?
  • Is SpO2 monitored in real time with an automatic safety floor, or read manually?
  • Are protocols programmed and repeatable, so any staff member can run a session the same way?
  • Does it run on a standard outlet, or does it need electrical and room build-out?
  • Is staff training and a credential pathway included, or sold separately?
  • Who supports and services the machine, and where is it manufactured?

IHHT machine questions, answered

What is an IHHT machine?

An IHHT machine programs the oxygen concentration of the air a client breathes through a mask, cycling between hypoxic intervals (typically 10 to 12 percent O2) and hyperoxic intervals (typically 60 to 75 percent O2) on a fixed schedule while monitoring SpO2 in real time.

How much does an IHHT machine cost?

Mito2 shares current pricing and configuration options directly with facility owners. Request the info pack and we will send pricing, footprint requirements, and what is included in the turnkey package.

What is the difference between an IHHT machine and an altitude training machine?

Most altitude training machines deliver a single fixed low-oxygen mixture for the whole session. An IHHT machine alternates hypoxic and hyperoxic intervals, which is the protocol used in the published intermittent hypoxic-hyperoxic training literature. The hyperoxic recovery interval is what single-mixture equipment lacks.

What space and power does an IHHT machine need?

The Mito2 system is a single cabinet that runs on a standard 110V outlet. It needs a chair or lounger and normal room ventilation, with no plumbing, no compressed gas cylinders, and no electrical build-out.

Can one IHHT machine serve a full schedule of clients?

Sessions run about 40 to 50 minutes, so a single machine can support a full day of back-to-back appointments. Facilities running multiple concurrent memberships often add a second unit as demand grows.

Does an IHHT machine require a clinician to operate?

Protocols are touchscreen-guided and monitored by the system, so trained staff can run sessions. Session intensity and client suitability are determined by the facility’s practitioner, and clients should consult a healthcare provider before starting any wellness modality.
