Mito2 Wellness Technology
Simulated Altitude Therapy Equipment for Wellness Facilities
Mito2 is a professional Simulated Altitude Therapy system, clinically known as Intermittent Hypoxic-Hyperoxic Training (IHHT). It delivers Active Cellular Training through programmed hypoxic and hyperoxic oxygen intervals, with real-time SpO2 safety monitoring on every client.
What Mito2 is
Mito2 is a turnkey IHHT platform built for wellness facilities including medical spas, chiropractic facilities, integrative medical practices, performance gyms, trainers, and wellness centers. A single technician can run safe, fully programmed 40 to 50 minute sessions on standard 110V power.
Each session alternates short intervals of low-oxygen air with higher-oxygen air, recreating the cellular signal of training at altitude without leaving the facility. The mechanism is rooted in the HIF-1 alpha oxygen-sensing pathway recognized by the 2019 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Mito2 is a wellness modality, not a treatment for any medical condition.

- Optional Oasis Lounger (Full Body Relax) zero-gravity seating for elevated client experience.
How it differs from hyperbaric oxygen
Hyperbaric therapy is passive and pushes extra oxygen into tissue under pressure. Simulated Altitude Therapy (IHHT) is active cellular training: the body responds to a programmed oxygen challenge and adapts. Different mechanism, different equipment footprint, different experience.
